Welcome, friends!

I can’t wait to share my experiences with you and hopefully stir your soul to explore new territories, both physical and mental.

I call myself the curious wanderer because old home movies show me as a toddler walking way ahead of my family on the Atlantic City boardwalk never looking back to see if they are nearby.  Back in the day, you could let your 18 month old wander without fear of being snatched, and I suppose my Dad got a kick out of my independent streak enough to want to record my meanderings for posterity.  It’s as if I was fearlessly leading the way, an invisible thread pulling me toward new experiences.  I hold that image close, as it reminds me to keep that child in me alive.

It’s easy to become complacent as we age and hard to find something new we haven’t already done before.  How many of you can say you stepped out of your daily routine this week?

That’s where I come in.  Let me be your guide to the possibilities of living and learning in the DC metro area.  I truly hope my postings excite you to enroll in a class, take up a hobby, hop in the car, or otherwise engage in life with a new vitality.   Come join me…
